What is Hunger?
Hunger is also known as food insecurity. According to Shelley Curtis food insecurity is a household-level economics and social condition of limited resources. Individuals who experiences a reduced and or suffer bad qualities of food due to limited income or does not have adequate assess to good food quality are experiencing food insecurity. Hunger and food insecurity effects the well-being of children, adults, families and the community (Curtis, 2008).
